Turn Signal Relay Box Access

To get to the upper mounting screw of the turn signal relay box on the inner fender ('65 BJ8) I will have to cut my pretty new fresh air duct. Ouch! I was thinking of later patching the two pieces of duct back together with some PVC pipe inside the duct. Anyone have a better suggestion?

I would think you should be able to loosen the front clamp that holds the air duct to the inlet pipe and move the duct out of the way of the relay box.

The job is done. A contact arm (the arm that correlated to the light that wasn't working) was bent inside the relay box. Cleaning and adjusting per the manual fixed it. I guess that explains why the car has always had both dash lights flash when a turn was made. I did have to cut the duct. The newer Moss duct seems to be much stiffer than old and doesn't tear as easily.
