At work we have three NOS glass turn signal lenses for MGBs that I am trying to sell. I can't however identify what years to advertise them as. All three lenses are clear, two of them are Lucas number L584, though they are different, one is domed, and the other is peaked in the center; the third is numbered L659. If anyone can identify what years these were used it would be a great help.

Walt: The terms "glass" and "MGB" don't compute! Can you post a photo of these? Sounds more like pre-63 lenses.

Yup. Agreed.

OOPS! Not enough coffee! (And I should know better, as I had to replace 'em on the '57!)

Know how you feel Mickey. Having trouble getting jump started myself this morning. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Too much Chianti last night I think. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

The lenses are rectangular, so they can't be TR2, 3, 4, 5 or 250 lenses, and the early 6s were more trapazodial than retangular, and the latter 6s were rounded on the edges. Spitfires have similar lenses, but they were never glass to the best of my knowledge. The only other car I could think of with a lenses that size and shape was the MGB. In fact the lenses fit perfectly onto a MGBs turn lamp. Are there any other cars that used lenses of that pattern?

Thanks guys, thanks Mckey that was great info. I really appreciate it.
