Turn signal gremlins on BN2

Well, never fails, go to a judged concours and the turn signals work fine driving up and then once there, one stops working ! So right now, I have cleaned up all the connections coming from the trafficator out through the steering column and thought I had it fixed. But, no, still have issues. It's on the right side. Left works great. Of course on left get running lights okay, but flip over the turn signal tab and front running light stays off and rear light will stay on solid, not flashing. Go figure. At least I know bulbs are good and getting power okay. Now I have to admit I do not recall if the bulbs are dual filament or not so if they are perhaps one filament is out but before I take the glass lens off- which is a pain in the rear - thought I would mention it here. Should I be trouble shooting the infamous flasher relay on the left side of engine compartment ? Any suggestions before I start looking at the relay which means taking off the cold air box duct since I have a 100M ?
Thanks,

Mike,

It sounds like it's your 3 pin flasher unit. Give me a call and I can help you troubleshoot! (I sent you an email with my number.)
