Turn Signal Flasher

it doesn't work for me either but I am pretty sure you can just buy a generic one
 
Thank you! Tonight's task is to get on YouTube and search for test procedures. My original turn signal switch had two functions- operate left or right lamp. Apparently this was N/A so Moss sent me a newer switch that also flashes the headlight high beams. Apparently an upgrade during the Sprite Mark III production. There are more wires on the new switch and has me befuddled. I may have burned out the previous flasher and want to check it.
 
Have a look at the diagram on the Advance Auto Wire site for a '67 MGB. Same wiring scheme as the Spridget "flash-to-pass" switch:
