have replaced my flasher relay and flasher unit.
the flash rate is pretty slow. is there a different flasher unit or adjustment to the relay

Gregg,
The stock flasher unit is kind of odd in that the more load it has (bigger bulbs) the slower it flashes. If the bulbs are too small it won't flash at all. There is no adjustment.

Some, have replaced them with more modern SS flashers or even put the SS guts in the stock can. I've never had any problem with the stock unit & don't know how to do a conversion, but I'll bet someone here will give you the info.
