TR2/3/3A Turn Signal Control Head Alignment Again

100_2031.jpg100_2032.jpg100_2033.jpgIt is my understanding that the stator tube slot should be at 6 o'clock and the turn signal switch be at 12 oclock. Correct? That's just a bad camera angle in the 3rd pic the slot is not that far out. You can't quite see it in the pics but the stator tube slot needs to be moved over about 1" for them to line up. How do I go about doing this? Don' really want to mess with the myriad of small pieces that I picture flying all over the place and that are a pain to set up.
 
Just grab it and twist, you don't need to take anything apart.
