MGB Turn signal bulb

I’m finding that there are two different bulbs for front and rear turn signals
rear 1141
front 1016
can anyone tell me the difference and is it correct?

I think 1016 is dual filament while 1141 is single. IIRC the rears are just signals while the fronts are signals/ 4 way flashers.

someone quick correct me if this is wrong.

A 1965 dose not have emergency flashers. Rear lamps are top flash bottom brake/marker. Fronts are amber flash and clear marker.

As long as the pins are same, bulbs will still laminate. The luminous maybe different and may need to adjust.

On the front, the turn signal and running lights are separate. Single filament for both. In the rear lights the dual filament bulb is the lower one and works as both running light and brake light. The turn signal bulb is uppermost and a single filament bulb, same as the front.
