One of the people at the 2012 VRG Turkey Bowl was Rich Rock with his white TVR.

At least three Pintos...I see a FIATsco 850....and an old Dodge Dart.

The fourth Pinto (our webmaster's) was missing. It has 215 HP to the rear wheels (2.0L). Faster than the 1600 Pinto I used to commute in.

Our BCF member here with the screen-name "Dart" brought his SP-250 Dart. I wanted to get him and Dodge together but we ran out of time. Last spring in Summit (at the Jefferson 500) we had two racing Dodge Darts.

That FIAT has a 1300 engine. Nice looking and fairly fast.

Rich seemed to be having some problem when I shot his car in the paddock.
Something leaking, I think, but not sure.
Whatever the problem was, he still was out there running it as far as I could tell.
Yeah, Rich is a nice guy. We met up at the VRG Watkins Glen event a few months ago and I saw him at the 2012 TVR Woodwork event as well.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I registered on this forum a couple months ago but this is my first post. I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of my assemblage of TVR parts in the photo gallery! (that's me in the jeans)

Thanks again David and Nial, and thank you Nial for the great job you do on BCF.

Rich Rock

Welcome to the best forum, Rich. Not too much TVR talk, but there is always plenty to do with the MG's, Triumph's, etc.

Hey Rich

I was sitting down on turn one most of Saturday. Was watching you in one heat but then you disappeared. What happened? mYou were putting on quite a show up shifting after turn 2. Huge exhaust flame.

Hey Bob and Ed!

When explaining to people what "TVR" means I sometimes joke that it stands for "Total Vehicle Reliability". Well, the joke was on me at Turkey Bowl. Persistent carb and ignition problems made for a very frustrating weekend. The car was never "right". It's time to go through both systems thoroughly.

Rich
