Of my three MGB bodies (hey, if two are good then three must be great) the '64 is much more solid underneath. My transmission is '69 so requires the wider tunnel. My plan is to swap tunnels from the '69 onto to '64 as part of the floor panel replacement. Techmanuels say that the earler tunnerls must be "banged out" (nice technical term) for the tranny to fit.
