Glad to see that Drew's car is staying with an enthusiast! And we're always happy to have another one on the east coast.

I have two Spridgets and a white MGB (like Drew's) plus some other errata.

If you are free, the ~New Hampshire Vintage Celebration! is a neat event (At Louden, NH in the early spring time. I'd guess it's about a 2 hour drive from you)

By the way, I'm sure GregW (mostly on the "big" Austin Healey forum) built his own steering wheel. And I seem to recall we had another fellow who built wooden, stringed instruments here, but that was a few years ago.

I would just like to say congratulations on the "new" Bugeye. It seems to be a very fine example of these well respected and fun cars.

...and I have a good friend of forty years living "up there" a bit north and east from ya. 'nother car nut, ex-USAF (same job, 601st) did his SEA tour at NKP.

Welcome Steve - I too am glad to see Tune Bug found a great home. Sounds like all are happy. We watched that car's journey from Drew's posts starting when he bought it, drove it home..through a major engine overhaul..
I think we all kinda feel an attachment to it, like a cousin to our own cars.

I bet the night drives will require the heater be working up there!

I've already met with a very good friend who is a Luthier and an artist. It will be well cared for. It's nearly 100 years old and is a very pretty instrument, one day it will make music again.
Shows what happens when something nice is given to a kid to start learning to play something she has no desire for.
It's in better hands now.

Kind of like these cars, hopefully more of them will end up in the hands and care of those who really appreciate them.
