Tulip transmission

Does anyone have experience with the above. My AH 100 which I have recently purchased presently has a non overdrive 4speed and is used for vintage racing. My understanding is that the "tulip" is the AH100 straight cut gear transmission. thanks jtb
 
I was waiting for someone with experience to jump in. I have no experience with the so called "tulip" gears. I'm pretty sure that they are straight cut. As far as the ratios go, the two references below give conflicting information. My experience with straight cut gears is that they make a lot of noise.
