I decided to re-install my two piece TT exhaust.It attaches to the stock
exhaust manifold.I tried,but couldn't get it installed.

* Is it best to attach it to the rear section first,or the manifold?

* How do you keep the washers in place,& get the nuts on?

* How do you keep the donuts from moving ?

I thought that I should be able to get this done in about
1/2 hour,but decided that it'd be best to ask for advice before proceeding.
 
Any exhaust I have ever seen installed has always started with the manifold and worked backwards. I think most people loosely attach everything and then go back and tighten it all.
 
Well yes start at the man. if the studs have not been bent it is a tight fit. Here one idea try this
I put two nuts in socket added a strip of dlb sided tape and stuck lock washer or any washer, slide up to man stud brake tape turn three threads pull out second nut start over three more times. Now tighten evenly donut should stay true. The studs next to block darn tight fit . GOOD LUCK
