Wow, what a great change. I've always been fond of Silverstone on the TR3. Nice job (so far)

That is a nice looking paint job. what brand did you use? Is it a base/clear coat system?

I am closing in on the paint stage of my project and i would love any advice you have to offer.

Greg

Frank, BEAUTIFUL and only we know how much work went into just the part that's done.

WOW, I'm really impressed!! That is a true frame off, ground up, do it right restoration. Great job, good luck and keep up the terrific photo history. You'll need it to get the proper coverage value from your insurance carrier. And you will want that baby insured when you're done. Even now, if possible.

Geez Frank....When I saw the first picture I thought..."Wow, My daily driver!"..

Are you keeping the red interior?

BTW...I'm looking for USED interior stuff...

Hi Greg! I'm no paint expert, but I know that the guy used DuPont acrylic urethane. This stuff is a 2-part mix, sort of like an epoxy, and you have a limited time to use it. But, as you can see, it looks real good. AND, it is not damaged by anything that leaks onto it, like brake fluid, etc. If you're interested, I can get the details? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Rick: The interior was really trash and almost everything had to be replaced, but I have quite a few odds and ends. Let me know what you need and I'll look.

Yes, it will be red leather/vynide per the original build record with silverstone gray and disk wheels.

Regards, fja
