Is my engine a TR3A engine? Number TS37903F on the block. Do anyone have a chart? My starter is acting like it doesn't belong to my engine so I want to verify it is a TR3A engine. Thanks

This is an early girl, It is very likely it came with the early starter/ring gear setup. You will need a
gear drive modern starter to make it work. Or change the flywheel . Just broke up one like it. It had the short
nose tranny (TS 41000 L). A 58 titled as a 59. Still had the OE starter.(free to you) But these are terrible to use
as the coupling in the drive fails a lot due to age.
