Trying to sell the Sprite

Nice looking Sprite Gerard, and I am sure it was done right.

Thanks Dave!,

I got this car as a body shell including the windscreen and door glass, but that it! I had to add everything else. However the car had absolutely no rust in it, so all the body panels, floors etc are original. I couldn't bear to see this one to the crusher and never would have saved this one had it been a rustbucket project.

If you'd like to see a few details...

You'll see the body work is flawless.

BTW, This car was the "poster child" for the Midget 50th at Elkhart Lake

Agree with Kellysguy, Rick. You've already got fish on the line!!

See if you can send a second chance to the top bidders.

I bet the high bidder was one of us trying to help Rick by bidding up the auction to just under the reserve so that the next bid would meet reserve. If there was a bidder who wanted the car, they would have made that next bid and met reserve.

With a bid of $2999 the next minimum bid of (I believe) $100 more would have put the bidding at $3099 which would have gotten Rick $99 more than just the reserve.

And no, it wasn't me who bid the $2999.

That is possible.
I don't recognize either of the top two bidders names, but that doesn't really mean much.

cocinas13 was the top bidder - is that someone here?
patrick_elliott was the 2nd to top.
If either of you is here then just pm me or send me an email.
rbastedo on the gmail

Also if anyone here wants to take it off my hands for a great price just let me know...
