TR6 Trying to help a friend...needs to sell his TR6

I have a friend in New Orleans who is taking a job overseas (he is a <u>P</u>hysician's <u>A</u>ssistant). I know he has owned his TR6 (76?) for close to 20 years. He needs to unload the car. I have driven the car (mostly original paint, Persimmon) and it is worth fixing. It needs work. He took some rather weak photos and emailed them to me. The engine is high-compression with old headers. Some new parts. Drivable as is. He said he wanted $3500, I told him $5000, till I saw the photos. I think it probably is worth less than $3500. Anyone interested in seeing the photos. I will see if I can import them from my email.
