Stopped on the way home Friday and picked up case of oil, filters, and anti-sieze with the intention of changing oil in both cars and waterpump replacement, pan gasket, and timing cover gasket in the midget.
Left early this am to pick-up a new printer and a load of coal for the stove-home by 9:30 but decided to find out why the xmas lights went out in the storm last nite. Well seems I had a dead short in the wiring where I could'nt get to it-cut circuit both ends and capped. Ended up installing a new receptacle and home run to the panel.
Needless to say tomorrow is another day.

Yeah...not a productive day here, I did some christmas shopping, locks on the truck froze so I spent a half hour in the mall parking lot trying presuade the lock open. After that my parents came over for dinner....Tomorrow I am gunna try an get the tail gate cables replaced on the truck, will be to cold to do much else outside...So I'll work on the many boxes of parts I've brought in for restoration over the winter(mostly TC stuff, few TR6 items, and an MGA steering wheel)

I got very little done yesterday...I waited for a contractor to show to give me an estimate...went to a Christmas party that one of my employees hosted last night. (Did get to see over a dozen deer out last night, though.) I have stuff to do today to make up for yesterday...all inside (good thing, as it's 16*F right now!)

Went to an annual Christmas "Boat Parade": Folks put a bunch of time and money into decorating their boats with Christmas lights and suchlike then parade down a local waterway after dark. We enjoyed the show from a pub on the river called "The Beer Shed."

Got the heater in my cousin's Trooper II. Helped wife fill the new green house with cuttings. Will work on MG next weekend. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif
