To clarify, since I didn't see the post earlier: I bought the oilers from HF, not Ken. Ken was kind enough to provide me with the part numbers I needed to put it together. Maybe the later oilers were not as well made...anyway, they either folded up the trigger, or ceased to pump entirely. I was pumping into rebuilt trunnions, so grease wasn't an issue. I expect I'll go by the boat store and get the mercury gun.

Nope, didn't see that. Anyway, trigger or not, they all quit pumping entirely. Sounds like the Boat tool is a purpose-made device for pumping heavy fluids. The older I get, the more willing I am to spend money to get results - and to let someone else do the hard work!
