ordered hinge and trunk handle gaskets earlier this week and received them today...paper gasket material! very disappointed that they are not rubber with a raised edge. which i believe are similar to originals. does anyone know of a supplier that might have these? rubber with a raised edge... thanks

I seem to remember someone selling a lot of Healey rubber gaskets on Ebay. I bought the ones that go under the wiper bezels that had the proper raised lip. I'm not sure if the ones you're referring were originally rubber - I've only seen the paper ones. It's worth a look on Ebay, though.
 
well if they were originally paper i can live with that. i did find a source for "custom made" rubber gaskets on ebay but they were a custom made price as well!!! thanks for the info
