I have a new floor pan to be installed in the trunk. I can see all the rivets around the back shroud, but how is the pan attached to the inner fenders at the sides? Rivets, Bolts, or welded? Also, anyone know a source for the replacement rivets?

Originally, I believe it was spot-welded. I recall having to air-chisel mine apart.

BCS sells the rivets, but I believe they need to be cut to length. Aircraft Spruce sells a variety of rivets you can choose from, but I don't think I've ever seen the exact same head as the originals, which were halfway between 'pan' and 'rounded' (same with the BCS ones).
 
Hi Hubert,

The pan is welded to the inner fenders. The only thing riveted, that I am think of in the boot area, is the shroud.
