I'm a bit late getting back here too.. I've been seeing the "I'm currently updating the site" notice since the forum went down. I have it set as my home page, but it never re-directed me like last time, so I just assumed it was still "in progress"
Tonight I was adding a new-used laptop to our network and typed in the BCF. and TA DAAAA! there it was! sooooo Here I am!.
We're loving "Le Fridge" so far. even set the radio to display "Le Fridge" when you turn on the ignition.
No plans for Sakie-rod upgrades. It's an economic, yet trendy, truckster. Right now I can replace all 4 tires for the price of one of those rubber-band holder rims, and I like it that way.

Both my sons have Tc's, and of course dad had to do a thorough top to bottom on them. Really quite impressive value for the price!! All the mechanical are similar aren't they?

Hey Paul, I bet that thing corners awsome with that "wheelbase"!!

Similar that they are all Toyota, but the TC is a different than the XA and XB. The TC is geared twards sports/ performance. It really took over for the Celica, and it uses the 4 cyl Camry engine (we're all waiting for them to stuff a Camry V6 in it!).
The XA and XB are nearly identical to each other underneath. and they share most of thier running gear with the Echo/Yaris.
While they can be "tuned up" pretty good they are solidly in the "B" market as compact economic vehicles. The TC is really a step up from the XA-B, but those two are still nice cars.
Ours has power steering and brakes, power windows and locks with remote entry, air, CD, Traction control, ABS, dual airbags, rear wiper, defogger, VVTi (variable valve timing)_, and it's Satalite radio ready (but ya gotta buy the unit at $300!!)
So for being a "B" segment car It's trimmed nicely.
