Was it actually cold enough in Kali-Forn-Ya, to need a scarf?
I did notice the guy tugging on the red rope was wearing a fur coat?

Yup, it was maybe 50 in some of the canyon roads about 6:00am. Then the Sun came out.
PS.
This was my first sucessfull posting of pictures in the
text rather than as an attachment.
Part of the fun of owning a TR is shareing about it and the things we do with them.
The diverse group of TR owners, brought together by the common bond of owership is wonderfull.
Thank you all.

Please note that the scarf wearer was also wearing shorts.

I harvested tomatoes yesterday.

She must have had the heater on her feet. Great pictures by the way. I wish it was as warm as 50 degrees here!

Is it (the blue one) lowered? What size wheels and tires are you running?

I have the same model and would love for mine to have that profile. Nice work!!

Blue Car has:
Richard Goodparts (front and rear)springs (lowers the car about 1"),
(I would like to lower the back some more, working on that).
Goodparts ajustable rear suspension brackets
Tube rear shocks
Superlite Wheels (15"x6")
Pirelli P4000 215/70R/15 tires (they do Not rub)
HVDA/Toyota 5 speed
and lots more stuff....
etc.

Great photos!!

I have many time wondered what TRs
look like........ outside of a garage
setting.

I keep mine in a concrete crypt for safe keeping.. LOL/

Nice car. Did you remove your rubberbabybuggybumpers? Looks like you have the Euro-Triumph turn signals. Very, very smooth.

I like subtle improvements.

Bill

Wow! Both of those 6's look great...Thats French blue right? I had a nice french blue 6 once...unfortunatly back when I lacked enough wisedom to keep the dang thing!

Bill, when you say Euro-Triumph turn signals are you talking about the front signals with a clear section on the end as oppose to the full orange ones? My current 6 car has the clear section like richards car....but my previous 6(the brown one) had the full orange ones...Whats the diff?

Those 6's are beautiful! And I love the Marina Blue TR3 on the right. I had a 66 Vette convertible in that color with a white interior when I was young and I don't even want to remember how stupid I was.

is that an aquacar in the first picture? i guess they're family since they are powered by triumph.

i wish "triumph photo's" included more gt6's...and soon they will. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My bad. The 74-75 had the clear/amber lens. The 76 had the amber. I think the earlier (pre 74) TR6 had a dual lens which would have been above the bumper. Not available over here.

Bill

Ok, I was just curious about that....It took me like an hour of staring at the front of my latest 6 to figure out what was different(my previous car was a 76, this is a 75) and it was those dang lenses....I actually prefer the solid amber look.

These pictures were taken at the Saturday, weekly "cars and coffee" located at the Ford Design Center, Irvine, Calif.
This get together happens Every Saturday morning: 7am to about 8:30am.
Enjoy.
Basil, if this is in the wrong place, move it as you see fit. It seems I was the only TR at the show this week.
One shot is of Dan Gurney and me (I am the one with the stupid smile) Mr. Gurney told me he used to have at TR2,maybe he ment a TR3.
