What city is (was) Simon's Hamburgers in?

And on what street? (still there ... but looks slightly different now)
 
Simon's is on Washington Blvd now. But in the 1940s ... think farther north.

Come to think of it, I was born in 1948. A few changes on me too ...

I moved here in '89. The clue for me was the bend in the road alongside a park. We shot a scene for a TV show at that park a couple months ago. The white building in the upper left of your photo is still there today. So some things change, some stay the same.
 
Thanks Greg. If you see the area today (I used Google Maps, street view), it looks like Simons Hamburgers has become some kind of giant parking lot.
