Triumphs in BCF wiki

I've listed some Triumph models in the BCF wiki page
https://www.britishcarforum.com/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Triumph

And started a page for the GT6.

If you'd like to start a page for one of the other models, click the red ? next to its name & it will create a new page.

After you start a page, it's easiest to start by clicking the "Apply Template" button, which will create a generic page which can be modified.

An alternative is to click "Edit" on the GT6 page, copy the source code there, then paste it into your new page, & just change specifics.

OK - I'm a dummy.

The GT6 page looks great. Lots of info.

Where do we get all that info for the other models? Is it all from typing what's in the original factory manuals, line by line? That's a *lot* of typing ....

BTW, I tried starting a page, but got "permission denied" even tho' I'm alread logged in to BCF.

Thanks.
Tom

I think you have to register separately for the wiki. I did, anyway, using the same name I use here.

If you go to the wiki page, at the top right there should be a login/register link.

It has a weird fault that every now & then it demands that you change your password. I just do it, & go back & forth between two passwords (less mental work).

The info comes from wherever you find it. I got the GT6 (Mk1) specs from the driver's handbook, & just put a bit in at a time. Some of the other stuff I'd just collected over time & had stashed here & there.

The amount of typing is lessened by just doing a sentence or two now & then when you have an idea or free moment.

A proposed example for TR6's is also started. Look in the test area for a display of a previous Brosky post on throttle bushes reposted.

Comments Appreciated

Now back to working on my car.
