Just recently found a new girlfriend that seems to handle my crazy self really well. Awesome girl with a great sense of humor that all my friends really like... Opened the garage door to get a new dog line out (not for the new GF) and she saw the Spitfire. Laughed at it and asked me why I had a go-cart in my garage. Won't go near it because it scares her because of how much smaller than her lifted S-10 it is. Oh well... Looks like I ride alone or wait until she is in a REALLY good mood.
 
When my daughter was around 10, I was shopping for my second TR3. Her exact words were " Oh Daddy don't buy a clown car". Now she's 31 and she's patronizing me, but she still doesn't get it. :love_heart::topsy_turvy:
 
My wife is not exactly "down" with my Spitfire, she won't let our youngest ride in it at all and only allows the older kids to do so with some trepidation.
 
Had a GF who didn't much like/trust the Elan, she ~one time~ thought she could reach over and correct my steering as we were on some trip... she dam-near had to walk home. After that I made certain she had to change her underwear after any trip every time. :devilgrin:

I met 'smits shortly after that.
 
Tell her no problem, young women love it and they often ask to be taken for a ride. :wink:

Er, so in other words, she really doesn't handle your "crazy self" so well. Your decision, obviously, but that would be close to a deal breaker for me. Especially from someone that thinks a jacked-up S10 is "safe" (can you say roll over hazard?)
 
Bring her to the clinic on April 27...in case you didn't know the date. If she leaves there still questioning your passion, you may have to reconsider one of those passions.
 
My wife doesn't like my MGB or my XJS. If she didn't have so many redeeeming qualities, I'd replace her.

That date is good to know. I usually don't know until April 26th. Going to bring the spit out with me if I can to get some opinions on a problem if that's alright. She will probably follow in the car or truck with all the "stuff". I can see her bringing the truck.

Not that I'm defending the S-10 ZR-2 at all but it is a whole heck of a lot better than the last one's blue Jeep Cherokee.

And finding a girl that likes trains is hard. I can work on her with the LBCs I think. She is a "petrol head".
 
Half a bottle of Jack and she'll ride in it. Just keep her away from the side with that round thingie you use to make it change directions.
