General TR TRIUMPH TR6 the possibilities!

That’s quite a milestone. Congrats.

How many seat rebuilds? šŸ˜€ At an average speed of 50 mph, 390k miles equals 7,800 hours behind the wheel. Four years of ā€œfull timeā€ work, ie driving 40 hours per week. (Sorry, I’m an engineer and gravitate towards maths…)

A lotta smiles!!

Understand, myself hands on, via fingertips/seat of my pants clutching/shifting/Driving experiences. 3 including couple months ago rebuild (driver's side only) of OEM '72 seats, had couple small tears on side & headrest, repair included new, diaphragm & cushion. At least a dozen were overtime 22 hr trips Riverside, Ca to Seattle, Wa vice versa non-stop Breckenridge, Co to Riverside, Ca other than gas pitstop, figure they run 24 hrs at Le Mans my TR6 can do likewise 24 hrs non-stop. Retired going on 14 yrs from that word work couldn't ask for better job than Driving my TR6 a Passion that gives meaning to loving your job:cool:

That's so great. Keep it rolling.
