Hello, does anyone know if a Steering wheel boss that originally fitted a MG Midget would fit a TR4/4a ? Am looking at a Steering wheel & boss on Ebay, but am not sure if the spline shafts used on 1970s MG Midgets and TR4s are the same size.

The MK1 And MK2 Sprites and the MK1 Midget have the same steering column spline count and diameter as the TR4 thru TR6. The Spitfire may be the same as well...I think I fit a Spit wheel to my Bugeye just to see how it looked.
