Hello,
I am selling my TR3A. It is a driver. I have done a bunch of work on the car. I am a long time Triumph owner of close to 30 years. This car I have owned for 7 years. The previous owner had it since the mid 1980's. I would call it a driver.
Here is a list of some of the new items done to the car. I have receipts for all the work I have done and also receipts from the previous owner.
1) All new interior. Panels from the Roaster Factory. Dash covering done by Union Jack here is Morgan Hill. New Roaster Factory carpet
2). Also new is the wiring harness (cloth). I also used all the correct original type fittings for the electrical.
3). New condition steering wheel which is the "adjustable" steering wheel.
4). All new brake system. Including having the calipers professionally redone by White Post restoration. Using silicon based break fluid with zero leaks.
This car is not perfect. That is why the price is at $12,000. The engine runs well with good compression BUT leaks oil. I think the previous owner installed the rear oil seal incorrectly. The rear end also leaks where the drive line connects.
I also did body work on the rear section. This is not finished. I can send pictures to show more details.
The floors have been worked on......meaning all the actual rust was removed using Naval Jelly and repainted. The floors have been "fixed" by the previous owner by welding metal patching vs replacing the floors.
There is much more I can share about the car if interested. I also have the heritage certificate.
If interested, please send me a PM and I can share additional information including pictures.
Thanks,
Steve
