Hello. Simple intro and interested in continued discussions as they unfold with regard to TR3's. mine is a1962"B" backyard Restoration with unusual history. I bought the car in 1980's in Atlanta, Ga and drove it home to Detoit next day. Tore car down to find excellent sheet metal chemically stripped and had fame rebuilt-up. Put car to side as I was looking for a Morgan +4. Had offer from Texas to buy all the parts and sold it in the 1990's. In 2002, I saw ad in company internal paper for a BRG TR3 for sale in Delaware. Turns out that car was one I sold to Texas and family moved to Wilmington, DE. Owner was being transferred to Europe and wanted to sell car. Bought it back and have been changing things on the car a little at a time. It has 72 spoke wires, Datsun Z240 Aluminum Drums on back, Cross-drilled rotors on front, high-torque starter, 5 speed Toyota trans conversion, luggage rack, a second louvered bonnet, rear seat cushion, hard top. I am looking at Rack & Pinion steering conversion from Racetorations in England, who I understand has best system and easiest to install! Racetorations has phenomenal TR3 up-grades, but are costly. Looking for the following: (1). person/company to overwrap a pair of side curtain frame bottoms cut-off from top to act as wind deflectors - see fiberglass parts at Racetorations - in black vinyl; (2) a good pair of late model headlamp seating rims with the 3 side slotted holes on side projections; (3) Wood steering wheel(Moto Lita) adjustable steering column adapter; (4) TR3 Badge Bar for road lights I want to add. Hope to hear from some of you. . . Tom
