Stag Triumph Stag

It was fine weather in norhtern Alabama for cruising this last weekend. I started out in my '73 Triumph Stag and finished up in my '77 MGB with both in the 'topless' mode.

Unfortunately, the Stag's left strut failed and allowed the car to drop to the tire and wear it through to the cord. I now need both struts, the related body crossmember, left & right wishbones, and the other lower suspension pieces.
Also unfortunately, There are not too many Stags lying about in the weeds anymore to salvage parts off of.

Anyone know of any Stags available , email to me at micholetti@knology.net

Thanks again,
Ray

Are you a member of the Triumph Stag in the States? www.tscusa.org

I know one of the guys on here is I think the top executive member, but that's the website if you're not familiar with the club. I'm sure the club would be of great help to help in running your car, and there seem to be a fair number of Stags around North America still.

Top Executive Member, that sounds a bit obsene!

All this talk about struts and members!

In any case, there are parts available, new and used.
The UK is the only real source of new parts although there are places here in the USA to get NOS parts. In the USA we have many club members selling Stag used parts, and have identified several salvage yards with Stags.
For your area, try Matthews Foreign Car in Atlanta. They recently received a Stag for spares and it may have the parts you are looking for. If you need additional help, contact me off list for some club folks with parts.
