At operating temp the car stalls out? Wait 15 min and the car will start again. Single Stromberg 150 recently rebuilt.
 
When it stalls pop the gas cap. If you hear a whoosh of air going in and the car starts right up your fuel tank vent line is blocked. A bad coil will act that way too.
 
Around here it means that a mud dauber wasp made it's home in the fuel vent. They are good bugs until that happens.

Leave the cap open and see how long it runs.
