Not sure if it's real; if not, it's a pretty good imitation. The right stuff is there. But...
VIN is from Solihull; Piggott's book says they were built in Canley. (Although it could have been an early Solihull build; the number fits that.) The door panels are the earlier type with small, round holes for door lock, even though it's a Solihull car - again, may have been using early parts up. Steering wheel's different - once again, early Solihull possibility; grey dash - should be black, I think; seat covers are solid - Spiders' were striped (could have been changed).
Again, may be a true Spider, as inconsistencies did occur. :confuse: Lots of trouble for a small return.
