Wayne on this forum and I own 1949 TRA 2000 Roadsters and my dad has an 1800. Same motor as the Renown and lots of exchageable parts.

Andy. You mentioned a while back that you might add Renown's to the registry. I know there are not many but it would be nice to know where they were. I know of three to start. Thanks, JL

PS. In a moment of extreme stupidity I left the oil cap off while driving up from Boston Sunday. Oil EVERYWHERE!!

Since I don't know of anyone else listing them as such, and since it certainly fits my philosophy of keeping track of the "non-sporting" Triumphs (and Standards), I'd be happy to add these...and Roadsters...to my Database page!

I'll clean your engine bay if you can get the smoke back into my TR6 wiring! LOL.
 
The head of our British Car Club here in Des Moines owns a Renown limo. He bought it several years ago. It is in beautiful condition. He told me that it was one of only a few like it still driving when he bought it. I don't know what year it is, but I can find out. I will post the info when I get it. I can't seem to upload a picture of it. Send me an email and I will forward you a nice picture of it.

I just purchased a 52 Renown in wonderful shape. About the only work I need to do is in the steering box and pivot points. Are these parts interchangeable with any other TRs.
I also have a 47 1800 Roadster and a 52 Mayflower. Rockman
