Since most of those numbers are lower, and given the name of the book they came from, I am thinking these are US import numbers.

There has got to be an extra digit in the TR3A numbers. That TR8 number can't be for US import either. The highest number I have ever seen is 2815 total production and many people say that's too high. 2797 would only leave 18 cars for the rest of the world and factory race cars. With a number that low, we should just take a minute and count them. I'll start. I have 7 of them, Charlie has 3, Dave, Dave, Paul, Al, and Steve, all have 1 each. That takes care of my neighborhood. Add Zach, Rand, Clint and the rest of Woody's clan, and that should be around 1% of total production all within 50 miles of each other in SE Mass.
