at the British Bash Car Show on June 5-6 in Louisville KY.

Come join us for the 25th Anniversary of our car show. We will be raising money for St. Josephs Children's home as they host our show on their shaded lawn. There is live music, fun cruise, novelty awards, door prizes, kids entertainment, fair type food, ice cream, popular vote car show, etc. This car show is a growing regional show that has started attracting people from across the nation.

This year you can also buy chances to win a rather nice 1970 Spitfire.

Details at https://www.britishbash.com

Moderators... I've made a calendar entry and a post on the events forum, but I wanted to post here to give the Triumph people a heads up.

Thanks

ARRGH!

I have a wedding scheduled that Saturday!

I REALLY need to retire...

That looks like a great show. I miss all the shows back east that were in parks and on the grass. All the shows out west seem to be in parking lots or on the street. Nothing better than looking at all the cars on the grass under a good shade tree. There is a show coming up in April that's on the grass but is very small. (Sports Cars On The Green) It's fun to park my TR6 next to some Ferrari, or Lamborghini.

Would raffle tickets for the Spitfire be available via check with a self addressed stamped envelope? They might sell quite a few tickets to BCF Members.

Hmmm... I do not know about selling raffle tickets via mail. I'll have to check with St. Joe's, since it is technically their raffle (the club is just supplying the car and selling tickets on behalf of St. Joes)

Craig emailed me and said he would mail me as many tickets as I want. I fill them out and send them back with the money. $10 per ticket.

I got his email from the British Bash Website.

Yes, well Craig is the Bash Coordinator, but I'm advising him to double check with St. Joes. The last thing we want to do is jeopardize the charity we are trying to support.

I hope that it is OK to sell them via mail, because it would be a great fund raiser.

Craig checked with St. Joes. It is my understanding that we can not do massive cold call/internet sales, but selling a few to acquaintances via postal mail should be fine. If you do not hear from Craig, then shoot him another email.

Here is the car they are working on to raffle:

Ahh you remind me of a phone call that a co-worker was having on his cell on a Friday afternoon. He is a Pastor and was on his cell while we had Auditor in the office.

He said to the other Pastor of the church:

Ahh your funeral is this weekend as well, mine is on Sunday when is yours?

Ahh your funeral is on Saturday.

I Guess I will not be seeing you then.

The Auditor looked like he had seen a ghost.
