Is there like an National Triumph Register or something I can join? And also is there a way for me to find a local club?

The Vintage Triumph Register @ VTR is the national club I belong to. They have links to local car clubs on their web site.
Also, look for car show/event listings, they are often club run, and will show who's doing what - not just on paper.

Hope I'm not of line in saying this, but I'd almost reccomend you join an all-makes British and/or all-makes vintage import club if there is one near you. Since you aren't a classic car owner yet you don't have to shoehorn yourself into a specific make club yet and this would expose you a wider variety of interesting old cars. Just my thoughts only though.

I have also heard wonderful things about the Vintage Triumph Register, in particular their excellent newsletter, and as a national club with a wide reach is a great resource. As one guy I talked to once told me... you can never belong to enough car clubs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif the more the merrier.

Anyway... I see you're from Virginia, I think BCF has a broad enough membership across the States that some of the people on here know of Virgina clubs they would reccomend.

Webb, Hit the forums tab, and scroll down through the forums past Triumph, Spridget, till you hit General Discussions. ( The blue bar.) Keep going and you will see one marked Classified. That would be it.

Webb, you really should join the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club, based right in your back yard in Waynesboro. They have about one driving event every month. Very active and involved club, IMHO. Joe Hash is a member.

Nice website, lots of really cool folks with very nice LBCs. Membership is inexpensive and the big event is a British Car Show each Fall, held in the big park in Waynesboro near the river.

There is an Annual National Vintage Triumph Register (VTR) Convention this week 14-17 July in Richmond VA. There are local chapters listed in the website.
