I'm looking to purchase a Tr3A/B in excellent condition. Where are some of the places I should look ? I'm aware of Hemmings, but there must be more ? Thanks, Tim

Try this guy's website, it's a jewel: https://teglerizer.com/triumphstuff/triumphlinks.htm

Also, EBay is an excellent resource that provides possibly the widest exposure to buy or sell Triumph-related stuff. EBay UK is also great, but of course, it's for UK-based cars.

Hemmings Motor News is also a good place, lots of good examples there.

Good luck!

www.vtr.org is a good place. So is collectorcartraderonline.com . I also just tend to do online searches of the newspaper classifieds in a 100 mile radius from time to time.

Don't bother with Hemmings, because the asking prices for most cars are so out of the realistic ballpark, it's a waste of time. I've seen the same TRs for sale in there for two years.

Good luck to you.

If there is a Triumph or British car club anywhere near, you may find that worth joining. The very best cars often change hands by word of mouth among club members -- at the very least you'll learn more about the cars you seek.

Just missed a very fine TR3A on eBay being sold by a well known and competent owner -- but there will be many more to come.
