Just some observations between the two.

Fit Both fit nice however the ppg did crack for no apparent reason after a year and a half xxx is unknown

Quality of glass the triplex is substantially better. The ppg windshield had noticeable distortion around the edges. Annoying if your tall with a big butt as it's very noticeable. XXX windshield is as close to be distortion free as you can get. Also you have a choice of tinted or non tinted with the triplex which is nice if you wish to match the rest of the glass.

The only bad I noticed with the triplex was the first windshield I received was chipped on the bottom most likely before being wrapped by the factory as I did not find the chip of glass in the packaging.

Triplex is now Pilkington, same quality and still better than PPG.

I bought a Triplex and the quality is unmatched. Fits perfect. Not cheap at around $250.00, but as I've been told, their as close to the original glass as you can get.
