David just called to inform, he and his womenfolk are
off to bed early to begin their trip to Puerto Rico
at 2:00 AM - ten hours from now.

David is bringing a new Canada coil for Amos, an electric
meter gizzmo and three additional babes to add to the island
for a few days.

My goodness Crypty/DPO Pedro gonna take a lickin.

Not much left to sort out after Ben's fine effort on
the carbs, David installing the new clutch and brake
cylinders and Tinster replacing the front and rear
suspension, fuel lines and purchasing just about everything
the Roadster factory sells for TR6 on their web site.

Progress reports to follow-

Spit roasted pig (lechon) WILL be consumed!!!!

While David is in the air, Dale will be on the water
tarpon fishing. Ain't life grand??

Now we know where all of you are.

Just what do you think that red devil is up to at this time?

Possibly planning another cross body block to David's head? Maybe creating more sand in it's gas tank? Heating up your replacement coil with the key off? Readjusting the carbs all on it's own?

The evil in that machine knows no bounds....

Be very, very careful, on the land, on the sea and in the air.

Paul, you make it sound as if Dale needs Mickey to hold an exorcism. perhaps the next step in freeing Amos.

Dave, you are reading my mind....that is a definite fix for the problem.

Paul and Dave
I was thinking exorcism myself. I just don't know if Mickey can do it long distance. It's a little too late to stop and pick him up now.
If he can perform this while absent from the scene, Then I'll beg for his assistance.
I am being very cautious just the same as I really didn't enjoy that last encounter. No more body and head shots if I can help it.
Dave

David re-ups for a second tour of duty!
Remember, when Crypty attached David, we were still
in the garage at the funeral home. We are on Wendy's
home turf this go around!!

Moahahahaha... look out Crypty!! Heeeere's David!
I bet Dave's gonna be able so shed some light on the Coil issue. I never looked at the wiring as it wasen't an issue I was aware of.
I have a long distance "lucascism" kit and will be setting it up tomorrow while I'm up at Watkins Glen with Nial (Aeronca65t). The energy from the club races and the Sportscar history at the track act as an antenna that will surely propigate it's effect to the aimed target anywhere on the globe. I'll try to get a video and post it.
Even with the Dan Masters wiring, it should still work. The lucas gremlins can feed off of replacement wiring as long as its installed in a British car.

Much appreciated Ben !!

I'm sure David will make short work of the coil
gremlins. The car seems to run fine until it
is put under load. Then the ignition falls apart.

I can smell raw gasoline again, even with the carbs
at your settings. That makes me think weak spark or
incomplete combustion for some reason.

David's gizzmo will pinpoint the gobblin, Im betting.

I don't partake so maybe the local light beer is really
light by Stateside standards? I'm a cranberry and soda guy.

later gator,

Nope. It's very similar to a Miller light or a Bud light. To the average stateside joe it's probably right on par. actually a tad higher alchahol content, so probably considered better.
But after brewing my own batches, and expanding my pallett with several of the local micro-brews available in our region, I've been ruined.
If I could just get our beer with your food! yea... hmmm. Maybe I could open a microbrewery in PR. hmmmmm.
I really don't tend to partake that much myself. That's probably why I like heavier, darker beers. I'll have one to compliment my dinner, and that's plenty. Once in a while I'll have two, or three over the course of an evening, but that's about the extent of it. I'm going for taste, not how many I can slam down before I can't stand up.
Ok... now back to our regularly scheduled Thread.

Final countdown to David's arrival with his womenfolk!

I think I'll kill some time until he arrives.

David and his three womenfolk arrived safe
and sound. Wine bottles and beer cans being
opened.

The red Mako played 10+ tarpon and snooks this morning.
