If I take a long driving trip, over to San Diego, then all the way up to Oregon, and if I do this sometime between Aug 4 and Aug 30, are there any British Car or "Triumph" events of interest along the way?

Hi KVH.

Can't help with that, but can tell what we have been doing on our trip. I did a search for car shows on our route and found one that fit, I then contacted the person listed for the show and was reasuured our car would be more than welcome. We had a great time and made new friends.

We have been also meeting guys from the forums and that has been great.

The oher thing has been all the people approaching at stops and asking about our car. That has been fun too.

We have also been kind of adopted by the bikers. They like our car and seem to be watching for us.

If you are interested in attending the All Triumph Drive In in August you would be welcome to join some of us Portland area Triumph owners driving up on Friday August 12 from the Portland area. Drop me a PM if interested.

Though, this is a bit different than the usual ATDI.
there is a 300 mile drive instead of car show.
There will be a beer tent set up for those who don't want to par take.

These are our happenings around Eugene in August....

Lavelle Vineyard European Car Show, July 31.
Coburg Car Classic, Saturday August 6, Coburg
EESCC Autocross 5&6, August 13 and 14, Coburg
Village Green Concours d’elegance, Sunday August 21, Cottage Grove

I'll be at the autocross on 13-14 August. The Village Green is a Golf Course and details of the show at Lavelle Vinyard are on their website.
