MGB Trim and badge removal

Prepping the car for body / paint work I need to remove the trim. The side trims, lights, etc are straight forward. The air intake grille has me perplexed. I can see / feel some retainers or small nuts under the grill inside the air inlet box. How do you get this off? Can you access the nuts / retainers by removing the heater / blower box? Also mine has a small square British Leyland bad on the front fender in front of the passenger door. I see Moss has these with adhesive backs. Are they all adhesive backed or in my thoughts there may be a stud on the back. Don't want to remove the fender or tear something up trying to pry it off. Anyone been there and done that?
 
The air intake is held in with "speed nuts" the same as the rear badge on the boot lid. If you can get a right-angle tipped pick under the nut (against the stud, between the nut and the body steel) you can ~usually~ wiggle 'em off. The BL badge is stuck on with adhesive.
 
Boggsy, Once you get the grill off the scuttle, as Doc says they have speed nuts holding it, get the plastic snap in clips from Moss to put it back. They push into the holes and then push the grill into them. They work very well and make the job so much easier. The grill can be removed later if needed just by pulling it out. PJ
 
Mehheh.. think: plastic drywall "expand-o-nuts" for retainers.
 
Thanks, I will just pop the badges off and try to get something in there to "wiggle" the retainers / nuts off!
