We just got a second notice in the mail from T-Mobile, they're saying we owe 'em $1,200+ for a list of 'stuff' we don't have and a different account number, along with a threat to trash my credit rating. They (T-Mobile) were hacked a while back, scooped up our info in the breach and some scumbot apparently started an account in my name. When I demanded to know where the bad account devices were located, it was ignored. The "Customer Services" weasel says it's taken care of but refused to give me any details as to where/what the bogus account came from. It took two calls a month apart and the "command voice" last eve, with reminder of over twenty years as a customer and threat of lawyer involvement to get his attention. REALLY annoying.

I sent a check to my insurance company in a Fedex envelope. The bill came in - $1,043.00 for a 133 lb. package. Two phone calls and a letter with exhibits and no luck - the next bill was for $1,100.00. I went to the local Fedex depot and spoke to the manager. He ran some computer stuff and reported the problem was at LaGuardia Airport where a dispatcher "made a mistake" and that I only owe $19.71. (even though I got a bill for $22.00 for another envelope I sent). Last year I was also assessed a wrongful late charge by Frontier. I proved with photocopies that the payment was made on time and asked that the charge be reversed. Not only wasn't it, but every month another $10 was added on. Telephone calls, letters - no satisfaction. Finally - disgusted, I paid it. Bit when we get our final bill - guess what - that $40 is coming off. I also never got the title to my Subaru - but that's another post. We are building a society that doesn't work.
