Howdy all:

I recently ordered a set of brake squeel shims for the 250. The package contained only the shims themselves, though the write-up in the '07 glovebox companion mentions some form of lubricant. What precisely is the lubricant, and should I hunt it down, or can I simply use the shims as is?

Thanks!

B.

I think the shims for my TR6 didnt come with anything either, I used anti seze, but I think that napa would have something

Huuummmm??

I installed mine as they arrived. Dry.
Was not aware they needed lubed.

Go to any auto parts place and ask for brake grease/lube. If does help, even if you have the shims in.
