My wife and I spent time on vacation this past week at our cottage and I had time to recover some significant treasures that will be used on Bugsy II from my Parts Car which is now ready to go to a new home to help put at least 2 more BE's back on the road in addition to Bugsy II. Items recovered include:

1) a better bonnet that is easier to restore that the early '58 bonnet that came with Bugsy II - The red bonnet seen in the background needs fender beading and some work and is restorable. I believe I have a buyer already.
2) an unmolested dash - Bugsy II's dash I discovered had been recovered and 4 holes welded up. - Dash was uncut but easier to install an unmolested dash. Bugsy II Dash and instruments goes with Parts car
3) Steering Wheel that is uncracked and needs a little filler and paint. I will go to a wood rim wheel later but this one gets car on the road. - Orginal Bugsy II Wheel in pretty good shape will go back on parts car
4) Seats with good seat pans and frames - Seats in Bugsy II had on bad seat pan - Those seats will be sold with parts car
5) Washer Pump that works - yeah
It was a good week treasure hunting.
Pics to follow.

And the engine is now out and time for engine compartment cleanup.

New job starts on Tuesday. Cash Flow again. Things are good.

Seats aren't bad and could be used but will be going Red. Important thing is seat pans are good and not rusted through like one if the ones that came with Bugsy II. Everything is just dirty.

I think PC-10 was mentioned. I've seen it. Can't remember who sells it. 2 part sand able epoxy. I've got sone info I saved on steering wheel restoration. Let me see if I can dig it up and will send to you. Paint hmmm article gas a recommendation on paint as well.

David,

Can't find thread I thought I saved on repairing Steering Wheels and Restoration. Pretty sure though it was PC-10 used as a filler. Paint needs to include some type of Flex Agent. Other than that Google Steering Wheel Restoration and there are a number of You Tube Videos on the topic.

Ok PC-7 notPC-10. I got the PC part right. Thanks for the tips.

We have any problem at all with cash flow, it's the direction of travel we're having trouble with.
I figured it out years ago and opened an absolute value checking account. The more I spend the more I have! :jester:
