TR5/TR250 Transmission # ?

I just talked to the trans Guy and the trans is toast. He thinks that it was driven with no oil or very little oil in the box. I can't remember how much oil I drained out of it when I got the car. The case is worn out, and he showed me a shaft that was gouged. The good part is that the main shaft is good and some of the gears are good. But I do need a new transmission. If any body has a 1972 gear box laying around here on the west coast please let me know. I would like a 72 trans because that is what the motor is from.

I would be a little surprised that the case is unusable, the only wear point is behind the thrust washers on the layshaft. That being said, I'll be at a shop with many cases sitting around and I'll take a look.

I got a used transmission #cc90334 I believe that it is from a 1974 TR6. It is a little worn and there are some miles on it. I ordered a rebuild kit for the trans and the A type overdrive from TRF. Should be here on Monday. I hope to be back on the road in a couple weeks.
Happy Thanks giving to all!
