Transmission Repair

Can anyone recommend a reputable and fair priced transmission repair person for my original transmission in my 60 BT7?

I am doing a complete drivetrain renewal and would like to have the transmission looked over for any required repairs. I would like a shop somewhat close to my location along the NY and VT border.

Thanks for any advice.

Side note: Leo makes the third person I know of who does/specializes in trafficator repair/restoration. I guess trafficators are 'big business;' I already knew they're troublesome.

Healey Surgeons can do it too.
Been around for a good while now
Give Bruce a call too

Just dropped off my transmission and overdrive at John Esposito’s shop. He took the time to do an inspection with me right there so he could show me the issues. I also gave him my carbs so he can freshen them up. Very nice guy and great customer service thus far.
I will report back once the work is complete in about 4 or 5 weeks.
Thanks for the lead.

I also had the experience of him walking me through disassembly of my overdrive when I dropped it off for a rebuild — a highly educational 20 minutes, and he showed me things I totally would have missed as a newbie.

He was also patient and helpful when I pestered him with post-rebuild, re-installation questions. (And, it perhaps goes without saying, the overdrive itself works like new now.)
