Remind me as it's been a long time since I changed transmission oil. 30 weight , Non Detergent seems to come into my mind. Some say 20W50 but I seem to remember 30 Weight. Non Detergent as the recommended Oil. Something like 7/10 of a quart.

What's the differential take? 80W 90W and how much?

Thanks

What ever you put in the engine is fine Jim.

As I recall I used 10W30 (2 1/3 pints) in the transmission and 90W (1 3/4 pints) in the differential.

Well I took a minute and looked at what I had on my PC and from the Spridget Tech Specs

Gearbox Capacity 2.7 US Pints 20 W/ 50
Rear Axle Capacity 2.1 US Pints 90EP

Thanks all.

Since I put 20W50 VR-1 Synthetic in the engine. Yes it leaks out but it was on sale for a really good price at the time. I'll do the same for the tranny but I know Synthetic is not good for the tranny so dino based 20W50 in there.

Thanks all.
