Interprete what you are looking for as simply a 73 or 74. The last years of Spridget rib cases were identifiable by the neutral interlock connection on the shift tower. This is an electrical plunger switch connection on the drivers side of the tower. It simply required the gearbox to be in neutral before starting the engine.
Also, on the back of the "ear" just in front of the tail housing transmission mount on the driver side is a date stamp. In the style of yy/m/dd. The ear is on the main case right at the back of it. It is directly opposite the ear or boss on the side plate.
All the Spridgets from about 1961 through 1974 have the same gear ratios. The later gearboxes added the reverse light switch and then the neutral start interlock switch, but that's about it.
