My TR3A is (mostly) in the body shop getting new paint. Before it went in, I pulled the engine and transmission (and just about everything else). I plan on cleaning the outside of the tranny while it's out of the car, but I have two questions. First, is it O.K. to use a power washer to clean the outside, or will water get past the seals Second, should I do anything to the inside of the tranny while I've got it out? It shifted fine before I took it out, so I don't plan to rebuild it, but I'd like to take reasonable steps to ensure that it keeps working for a long time.
