New to the Forum. Looks like a fantastic resource.
I am in the final throes of getting my 56 BN2 100M (BMIHT certified factory spec) on the road. Am not doing a full restoration right now, just want to drive. The car shifted OK but I noticed that the clutch lever bushings were very worn and the connecting rods flexed considerably. I installed new levers and very nice heavy duty linkage from British Car Specilists (kudos). Adjusted the pedal travel to the recommended 11/16ths. Now it won't shift at all! Can get it into neutral and, with some difficulty, into what feels like 3rd and 4th. I tried adjusting out much further to no avail. I did remove the shift lever duing the process to check the brass bushing at the end - it was OK - and everything reinstalled nicely. Any suggestions? Have not done transmission work before so be kind.
